Episode 20 – Are All Middle Lane Drivers Pure Road Cancer?

We’re one year old! Put on a pointy hat, grab a luke warm sausage roll, and join us for a proper baller party in the podding shed. We’ve got plenty of car news to start, then Chris questions if stanced cars deserve the hate they get, Andrew points out how manufacturers with crap EV tech are throwing money at Formula E, and we mull over the issue of middle lane drivers. Is there a time sitting in the middle lane just makes sense, what’s the best way to deal with them? We also debate the leaked Jimmy photos and tackle accusations it appears rather too much like a little G-Wagon rip-off.

Episode 16 – Good Guy Volvo

Volvo, one of the coolest car brands ever in our opinion. We shine the spotlight on their altruistic pursuit of safety and practical implementation of power. After those niceties, we say our piece about the GT86/BRZ and the constant argument about lacking power for a new segment we’re calling Riddle Me This. We have another new segment for you too, Highway Humbuggery, with the topic of just who is right when it comes to the dreaded lane merge. As for the future, well it’s looking a little bleak as our rights to own and maintain a car may be eroding away faster than an old Rover on a wet salted b-road.

Episode 14 – Part 4 – Tesla Semi & The Electric Car Tuning Scene

So it turns out Elon Musk has been secretly nurturing a semi that he’s very proud to soon show us all. We don’t know what a Tesla semi truck will entail but we have a lot of reservations over just how many roles automation can realistically take over. Truck drivers do a lot more than people think. We also report back on our research into the electric car tuning scene with mixed results. Either way, how does lots more power with zero drawbacks sound to you?

Episode 14 – Part 3 – Car News & Corrections April 2016

SO. MUCH. NEWS. Lots has happened recently and theres some stuff worth taking note of if you’re in the UK. Speeding fines are going to be wage based as of next week. As much as 175% if you’re particularly stupid. There’s an update on Dieselgate and there’s no getting away from discussing the new Challenger SRT Demon and Cherokee Trackhawk – a 1500bhp garage with just two family production cars.

There’s some corrections too regarding the Nissan Pike Cars and 3.5ton truck brand confusion. We’re trying our best. Keep in mind we tend to make mistakes faster than we can correct the previous ones.

Episode 14 – Part 2 – Potters Spotted April 2016

We’ve had a huge backlog of cars we’ve spotted around The Potteries over the past month and thought we’d better give them all a mention. We’ve seen all sorts from little Nissan Figaros to the possibly mammoth Tesla Model-X. Chris saw something that had him borderline braying like a horse while Andrew was snuck up on by something very unexpected. We’ve been taking photos where we can too. They’re in this vid but you can also look up “thosemeninsheds” on instagram for more.
